Overview
The Klingle Valley Trail spans just shy of a mile in a leafy, residential area of northwest Washington, DC. The trail opened in June 2017 and is accessible to the neighborhoods of Cleveland Park, Woodley Park, and Mount Pleasant.
About the Route
The paved pathway follows a small brook and traces the route of a former roadway, Klingle Road. From Klingle Rd. NW, the trail heads downhill alongside the Tregaron Conservancy. A highlight of the route is when the trail passes underneath Connecticut Ave. NW underneath a huge arched bridge.
Connections
On its eastern end, near Porter Street NW, trail users can connect to the city's Rock Creek Park Trails and Beach Drive.
The Klingle Valley Trail runs between Klingle Rd. NW (Cleveland Park) and Porter St. NW (Rock Creek Park).
There is no designated parking for this trail. The best way to access the trail is via. WMATA's bus and metro system.

My aunt and I took a quick walk on this path. It’s a peaceful walk on a paved path with a burbling creek nearby. A lovely step into nature in the Cleveland Park area.
