The Town of Brentwood is tucked between Mt Rainier & Hyattsville in Prince George's County, Maryland. This short stretch of paved trail sits on the crest of a levee along the south bank of the northwest branch of the Anacostia River. The trail begins on Webster Street and dead ends just short of Rhode Island Avenue/ Route 1. Trail users can connect to the Northwest Branch Trail by crossing the river at 38th Street.
There is no dedicated trailhead parking for this trail, but visitors can park at the 38th Ave. Neighborhood in Hyattsville (5004 MD-208, Hyattsville) and then take 38th Street south to the trail in Brentwood.
This is a good city trail to get off the main road and cut through to enjoy some nature.
