East Lake Sammamish Trail

Scenic and quality trail

September, 2024 by jwubbie

Scenic and the natural restoration is very well done, especially the interpretive signs and benches. Signage along the parkway to trailheads was lacking as were trail/milage markers along the way as was drinking water. If you go solo, take the time to investigate and plan a route.

North Creek Trail

not for wheels

September, 2024 by aliciashankland_tl

Much of the asphalt is severely buckled in the miles heading toward Bothell. So many that you cannot avoid or bike around big sections of long and high ridges and cracks. The bumps cover far more area than smooth pavement. There is also a stretch of very large rock gravel on a narrow, elevated path near where the path intersects with 405.

Snoqualmie Valley Trail

Part of this trail is closed so don’t start at Nick Loutus Park

August, 2024 by npthomson_tl

Part of this beautiful trail is closed for salmon restoration. You can still access most of the trail by going to the parking lot and trailhead with port-a potty at 356st off of state highway 202, Fall City Road. Head past the porta potty head basically north.

SR 520 Trail

MicroSoft section

August, 2024 by swvn2cp6ym

Took the trail that goes by all the Microsoft offices. The trail itself was noisy and not that great of shape. However we stumbled onto a bridge across SR520 into the Microsoft world. Absolutely amazing. Like a different world. Remove and isolated

Cedar River Trail

It’s ok

August, 2024 by swvn2cp6ym

Starting at the south end is gravel. Not to far in it turns to nice asphalt. It travels close to the major road most of the way and it’s pretty noisy. Rode to the end and discovered the last mile is walking only. Rode it anyway no one said anything including the park service.

Burke-Gilman Trail

Nice

August, 2024 by swvn2cp6ym

I’ve been on a lot of trails. This one rates a B. The asphalt is excellent and wide until one enters the Seattle district. Then Boom it suddenly turns into a C trail when I’m feeling generous. It’s knarly and narrow with tree roots. Barely wide enough for 2 people to pass. Get it together Seattle. Lots of people come here for the trails and we spend money. Not that Seattle seems to care about that.

East Lake Sammamish Trail

Other side

August, 2024 by swvn2cp6ym

This is the other end of the Sammaish (sp)Trail. It’s nice. In my opinion the other end is more scenic

Sammamish River Trail

Nice Ride

I liked this trail. Asphalt was almost perfect. Nice and wide. The scenery was above average not spectacular. Definitely worth doing.
