The Bomber Rail Trail is paved concrete path that follows a former rail corridor through Midwest City for about a mile. Some of the old tracks are still visible in places along the trail. Heading southeast from Maple Dr, the trail passes several schools and runs between the backyards of neighboring houses, until it reaches a slightly more commercial area and ends by the intersection of Southeast 15th Street & Southeast 17th Street.
Although the trail crosses several roads, there are stoplights and crosswalks with curb cuts for pedestrian safety and accessibility. The trail is well-lit and trees placed along the route offer periodic shade. Restrooms are available at Kiwanis Park (1101 S Midwest Blvd), which also has playgrounds, pavilions, picnic benches, and numerous other recreational facilities.
Parking is available near the southeast end of the trail at Kiwanis Park (1101 S Midwest Blvd), which has three parking lots.
